Black Cumin Seed Oil

Cold-Pressed – Conventional & Organic

At PLANT IX, we cold-press our Black Cumin Seed Oil using only carefully selected seeds of Nigella sativa L., sourced exclusively from Egypt and Syria. The seeds are harvested at peak ripeness, gently dried, and cleaned by hand to preserve their full nutritional value. Through mechanical cold pressing and careful filtration, we obtain a green-brown oil with a characteristic spicy aroma and slightly pungent taste—rich in essential fatty acids and naturally occurring antioxidants.

We offer both organic and conventional grades, each compliant with the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Black Cumin Seed Oil details

Our Black Cumin Seed Oil is derived from the seeds of Nigella sativa L., cultivated in the nutrient-rich soils of Egypt—one of the most renowned regions for black cumin. The harvest takes place between June and July, once the seed capsules reach full maturity. Farmers hand-cut the dried stalks, allowing the seeds to naturally air-dry before they are carefully separated, cleaned, and selected to ensure optimal quality. The oil is then extracted using a mechanical cold-pressing method without heat or solvents, followed by gentle filtration to remove natural sediment while preserving the oil’s purity and bioactive compounds. The entire process adheres to strict ecological and social standards, ensuring traceability, sustainability, and the highest product integrity.
