Black Cumin Press Cake details

Our Black Cumin Press Cake is produced from premium Nigella sativa L. seeds, cultivated in the fertile soils of Egypt — a region long recognized for its high-quality black cumin. Harvested between June and July, the mature seed capsules are hand-cut and left to naturally air-dry under the sun. Once dried, the seeds are carefully cleaned and selected to ensure purity and consistency.

Using a gentle mechanical cold-pressing method — free from heat or solvents — the oil is extracted while preserving the seeds’ valuable nutrients. What remains is a nutrient-dense press cake, rich in protein, fiber, and approximately 10% residual oil. The press cake is then processed into pellets or ground form, depending on the application, ensuring maximum quality.
