chia seed flour

Ideal for baking and refining smoothies, puddings and dressings.

particularities

The chia plant originally comes from Mexico and Guatemala, where it was already known to the Mayas and Aztecs as a medicinal plant and staple food. The black seeds are gently cold-pressed to extract the oil. The press cake resulting from this pressing process is collected and processed into fine chia seed flour. Due to its excellent binding capacity, chia seed flour is well suited for thickening sauces, soups and stews and for cooking and baking in general.
